All attendees are encouraged to wear the field uniform (short-sleeved shirt, no tie, dark green pants) or crew shirts and nomex pants.
Shrouds for FS badges; they should be positioned
horizontally across the badge.
Purple ribbons/ pins should be worn above or to the left of
the badge above your heart.
Shrouding of a badge on a truck is accomplished by placing a
1/2” by 1 ¼” piece of black material horizontally at the badge’s midpoint
entirely around the badge. The shroud should be placed on badges at the time of
notification of the death and may remain on the badge for a 30-day mourning
period.
